"Cross-country skiing from Gålå is not just about training, it is also about experience, peace and togetherness. From Gålå Høgfjellshotell you have direct access to some of Norway's most beautiful high mountain trails. Here are my favorites for those of you who want to enjoy the day outdoors!"

Hosted by Gålå Høgfjellshotell

1. The Classic - Circular trail around Triltåsen (8.5km)

An atmospheric round trip in easy terrain from the Gålå plateau. Perfect for couples who want a quiet start to the day, preferably with a thermos coffee and a little break in the sun, or if you want to enjoy some fresh mountain air before a delicious dinner and fireplace at the hotel.

2. Solveig's favorite: Circular trail around Skjereillskampen and Isumhøgda (about 17 km).

A beautiful trail with fantastic viewpoints towards the mountain massifs Rondane and Jotunheimen, among other things. The trail winds through quiet forest and open marshes. Here you get the best Gålå has to offer with varied, and somewhat hilly terrain. There are several shelters and lavvos along the way.

3. The Peer Gynt trail from Gålå towards Fagerhøi, Kvitfjell and Skei - for those who want to go a little further (approx. 20-25 km)

From the hotel, the trail goes up towards the high mountains with Rondane and Jotunheimen as a backdrop. There are wide trails that are perfect for both classic and skating. This is the trip for those of you who like to combine physical expression with the feeling of freedom and expanse. The trip can easily be adapted to each individual, you can build on with more circular trails. Feel free to take the pink trail back from Fagerhøi towards Gålå
